Thanks, Rajesh for highlighting this. I&#039;m glad that Channel [V] rectified
the mistake almost immediately and as you and Dina point out, it would have
been better if they had effective alert systems or at least some brain
storming sessions with existing bloggers to understand some basic rules and
strict no-nos.
PS. and it is not Patrick :)
- The comment was deleted by mistake and can&#039;t be traced :(
Hey Patrix: Thanks for dropping by!
Oops! Removed all trace of the mistake though! :). Corrected.
The issue is that most brands are unfamiliar with many social media rules and anyway simple copy-paste is not really going to build the blog anyway.
Cheers and do drop by again!
Rajesh

<description>rajesh ... what i liked about Channel [V] in this case, is the fact that once brought to their notice, they were willing to listen and learn. The problem is they had to be alerted by bloggers thru&#039; comments at their blog, and personally too, rather than have their own alert systems in place. The first step for them should be having their own alert-systems in place, and then working on a blogger-relations programme. There is risk when you go &#039;out there&#039; as a corporate - its a new medium and you have to learn to manage the risks. Yeah .. and &#039;admin&#039; sucks :)
